What we collect, and why

You only need to give your email and city to join. We never ask for your name or phone number, or for your device's precise location.
Cookies
None. This site doesn't set cookies or store anything on your device. Our analytics provider, PostHog, counts visits with an anonymous ID it creates on its servers each day from your IP address and browser, and can't link visits across days. Which of our two designs you see is picked from a one-way hash of the same details, and never saved. If you use the city suggestions, Google's script loads and Google may set its own cookies.
Who handles it
Only the providers who run the site for us, under contracts that limit what they can do with it: Cloudflare (hosting, and the waitlist database, stored in Western Europe), Resend (sending our emails), PostHog (analytics, in the EU) and Google (city suggestions). Cloudflare, Resend and Google are US companies; where data leaves the UK or EEA it's protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or the Data Privacy Framework. We share data otherwise only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Waitlist details: until GotHuman launches in your city, then deleted within 12 months — sooner if you ask. Anonymous analytics: up to 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or download your data, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time — which also takes you off the waitlist. Email hello@gothuman.com from the address you signed up with and we'll respond within a month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office or your local data protection authority.
