Safety sharing with a small data footprint.
A safety share stores one latest location, an optional public destination, its expiry, and the account that created it. Each new update overwrites the previous point; this viewer does not provide route history.
Access is controlled by a long, unguessable link. Anyone who receives that link can view it until it is stopped or expires, so recipients should not forward it. Expired location points are deleted.
Google Maps displays the map and public destination. GotHuman does not send another meet participant's live location to the viewer.
You can permanently delete your account in the app under Settings or use the independent account deletion page. Deletion requires the account's passkey, never phone verification. Personal data and sign-in access are removed immediately. An unlinked anti-abuse phone fingerprint may remain for up to 90 days, and pseudonymous safety records for up to 365 days before the remaining account link is removed.
